This vintage pamphlet / booklet was created and written by Alvin J. Williams in part to support boxing and it's importance in the war effort. The guide was dedicated to Mr. Williams three sons - all serving in the military. Several accolades were provided from both local Pittsburgh newspapers as well as previous boxing legends and champions. Produced in 1943, this booklet measures 8.25" by 4". The overall condition is good with some corner turns, yellowing and minimal staining on the covers and first few pages. Staples are intact and spine is strong. Graphics show good color and are still strong. Content pages and photos are in very good to excellent condition. 32 pages (un-numbered).
Item was kept in a clean, dry, pet free, smoke free environment. Family owned booklet and family history of boxing enthusiasts.
