Brown Sugar Construction is looking for an experienced, dependable contractor to join our growing team. We handle residential renovations, property turnovers, rehabs, and investor-focused construction projects throughout the Cleveland/Akron area.
We are looking for someone who can work independently, take pride in their work, and get projects completed correctly and efficiently.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Depending on the project, work may include:
* Drywall installation and repair
* Interior and exterior painting
* LVP flooring installation
* Door installation and replacement
* Trim and finish work
* Cabinet installation and painting
* Bathroom renovations
* Kitchen renovations
* Demo and cleanup
* Caulking and finishing
* Fixture installation
* General handyman/rehab work
* Reading and following a scope of work
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 3+ years of residential construction/rehab experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of general construction
* Ability to complete work with minimal supervision
* Reliable transportation
* Own basic tools
* Able to work independently and as part of a crew
* Reliable and dependable
* Attention to detail
* Good communication
* Ability to meet project deadlines
* Must take pride in quality workmanship
BONUS: Experience working on investment properties, rental turnovers, or full rehabs is a plus.
PAY
Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
Most projects are paid by the job/project, so experienced contractors who work efficiently have the opportunity to earn more.
