ALPS Mountaineering footprints are a great addition to any tent purchase. They are cut a little smaller than the dimension of the tent floor and have corner attachments, which help keep it in place. Using a footprint with your tent adds an extra layer of protection between your tent floor and the ground, helping to prevent abrasion, punctures, and moisture seepage. It keeps your tent cleaner and drier, making setup and takedown easier while also extending the life of your tent. Lightweight and easy to pack, a footprint is a simple addition that makes a big difference in preserving your gear and enhancing your camping comfort.

Use under an ALPS tent for extra protection

Footprints are like “insurance” for your tent floor. If you happen to have debris puncture your tent floor, it’s much easier and less expensive to just replace a footprint than your whole tent.
