Offered with a heavy heart only because I’m taking my program in a different direction, Bugsy is truly a standout yearling with a bright future ahead. I’m not typically a mare person, but this sweet, honest girl won me over from day one—and she has zero bad habits to show for herself.
Already standing at an impressive 14.2 hands, she has a wonderful foundation for her age:
Groundwork & Manners: Lunges beautifully both ways at the walk, trot, and lope without ever dragging you around.
Tack Intro: She’s had a saddle placed on her back during short lunging sessions and handled it like a total pro—never once offered to buck.
Care & Handling: Great for the farrier, sweet-natured, and easy to handle around the barn. use to bring hosed off. respects fence. loads up in a slant and backs out. she on a small hobby farm use to hearing lots of commotion. we also do mounted shooting so she is well use to hearing .45s go off.
Health: Up to date on her Coggins and clear on her full Equine Disease Panel (all negative reports in hand).
She doesn't have to go, but I know in the right hands she is going to make someone an absolute horse of a lifetime. Serious inquiries welcome to help Bugsy find her next great home.
