Job Summary
We are seeking detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced commercial or residential cleaning contractors for move-out and property turnover cleanings. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring empty single-family homes and apartment units to "move-in ready" condition after a tenant leaves or right before a property is sold.
This is a 10-99 independent contractor position where you are paid a flat, competitive rate per job completed. The first few days will involve working alongside a team member to acclimate you to our specific property standards, expectations, and checklist. After this brief onboarding period, you will operate completely independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Deep Clean Vacant Properties: Perform detailed move-out cleanings on completely empty homes and apartments to make them immaculate for new renters or buyers.
• Kitchen Checklist: Deep clean inside/outside of all appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher), degrease range hoods, wipe out cabinets/drawers, and sanitize countertops and sinks.
• Bathroom Checklist: Scrub, sanitize, and descale showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, tiles, and mirrors. Clean interior vanities and medicine cabinets.
• General Living Areas: Clean inside window tracks and glass, wipe down baseboards, doors, light switches, and ceiling fans.
• Floor Care: Thoroughly sweep, vacuum, and mop all flooring surfaces. Remove debris or dust left behind by previous tenants.
• Final Walkthrough: Assess your own finished work against our quality checklist to guarantee a 100% satisfactory turn.
Position Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of professional cleaning experience (turnover, move-out, or commercial cleaning preferred).
• Transportation: Must possess a reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting yourself and your equipment to various properties across Clarksville.
• Supplies & Equipment: Must provide your own professional-grade cleaning supplies and tools (including but not limited to a commercial vacuum, mop/bucket, extension duster, microfiber cloths, and deep-cleaning chemical solutions).
• Work Style: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the US, pass a background check, and be comfortable signing a standard 1099 independent contractor agreement.
