Hello! I'm a scientist (with a PhD) with teaching experience, having lectured, taught in science labs, help-rooms at UBC and two other universities, plus at the high school level. I have several years of experience tutoring professionals, students in university, high school, and elementary to help them better understand math and science.
Subjects that I can cover include most math and science subjects, from elementary up to university course levels.
- Chemistry: any level, including organic chemistry
- Physics: 1st year university
- Math: 1st year university
- Biology: 1st year university
Currently I have both weekday evening and weekend slots available. Depending on the location and time, I may be available to meet at your home (Chilliwack and possibly Abbotsford), alternatively we can meet via Zoom or at another mutually convenient location (a coffee shop or library).
The cost varies based on subject and location, but typically is around $50-$70 per hour.
