We are looking for a warm, caring and reliable person to help care for our two-year-old twin boys.
📍 Our home is in Hilversum, close to Amsterdam — not in Amsterdam itself. We live in a beautiful, green area, close to the forest.
In exchange for 15 hours of childcare per week, we offer a private apartment of approximately 40 m², attached to our home. It has its own entrance, kitchen and bedroom, giving you your own private living space.
The 15 hours will probably be spread across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and one weekend day, divided between those days.
We are a natural, family-oriented household, and Waldorf-inspired values are important to us. We enjoy spending time outdoors, being in nature, creativity, simplicity and giving children space to develop at their own pace. We are vegetarian and value a calm and natural lifestyle.
We are looking for someone who:
* genuinely enjoys spending time with young children
* is warm, patient and responsible
* enjoys being outdoors and playing creatively
* feels comfortable with a gentle, natural approach to childcare
* is looking for a stable and pleasant place to live alongside their childcare work
Basic Dutch is required. You don’t need to speak Dutch fluently, but you should be able to understand and speak simple, everyday Dutch with the boys — enough to communicate naturally with them in their own “child language”.
