Shop Assistant working in a Hollow Metal Steel Shop and a warehouse working with 16 ga steel frames, 18 ga steel doors, and architectural wood doors and architectural hardware. Assist in unloading, staging and packing of Steel & Wood Doors & frames during varies stages of production. Enjoys the shop environment, being on your feet all day doing hands on and work with steel, glass, wood and door hardware. Able to read a tape measure. Daily tasks can include, prepping wood or steel doors with window cut out, lock, hinge and other preps to make the door functional. Being certified in sit down forklift is a plus but not necessary. Position must follow all OSHA regulated rules. Keeping a clean work space, follow directions and works well with others plays a key roll in this position. Being bilingual in Spanish is helpful with our customer base but not necessary in this position.
This is a non-union position that works 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, no nights or weekends.
Mandatory physical, must be in good shape and lift at least 50lbs. Drug test required before hiring.
