The queen mattress is a year old and the memory foam is really nice. It's got a box spring under the memory foam mattress, which makes it high off the floor. You can replace the box spring with a platform to make it easier to get in and out of.
The 4 poster bed frame is decent and sturdy. It got some small scuffs on the corner.
The posters are 84 inches (7 feet). The finials come off if you wanted it to be 14 inches shorter.
