I have a dry buliding/office unit available in Chewelah area. It is an 8x20 total. The building is a 2 structure building- where the original 8x12 is attached to an 8x8 addition with bolts. It sits on pier blocks. Outside siding is T-111. It covers the furring spacers that are for air flow.
The main building has 2x4 studs walls, which later were modified to be 2x6. The walls have backed R21 batt insulation and the ceiling as well( don't recall if the ceiling is backed). The floor has 2x6 joists that have R21 backed batt insulation. All of the seams in the floor, studs walls(other than the divider wall inside) are sealed with caulk. The insulation is taped up at the seams and is covered with Certainteed MemBrain smart vapor barrier on the floor, walls, and ceiling. Then it is all taped up at the seams. Main room has electrical outlets and a ceiling light. Attic entry is available from this room but it has no storage space.
The addition has 2x4 walls with either R13 or R15 backed batt insulation. The insulation seams are taped. Ceiling is covered with poly vapor barrier and has R21 insulation( don't recall if it is backed). Floor and wall seams are caulked. Floor is plywood and has 1 or 2 XPS sheets( maybe 2 inch boards), which are then covered with another plywood sheet, which is then secured at the walls at the edges. This addition has no electrical by design. Because the building is so well- sealed, it keeps the heat in well with a radiator heater. In the summer, when the strategically placed opposing windows are opened, there is a breeze sometimes and the heat from the sun is well kept away from the interior space.
Both rooms are finished on the interior. They have sheetrock and are painted. Windows trim and entryway between rooms are finished and caulked between all board edges. The windows are double paned.
Newly painted exterior T111 this June. The eaves are partially primed. Primed underneath.
If purchased, it will need to be towed to your destination. I already had a well- known local business come by and assess the building for a moving possibility. I already got a standard quote from them for the towing. Plus the optional extras for site preparation and additional steps needed before transport - that this business can perform, too.
The destination site will need to be level of course. The pier blocks keep the building high off the ground for added moisture protection. Also, because of high ventilation underneath- the radon levels were very low inside.
