Magnificent Mid-1800s Venetian Octagonal cushioned Art Deco MIRROR with mirrored surround on wooden frame. Center oval mirror is beveled, edged by three layers of mirrors. The first band has fine scallop oval framed with the first level of octagonal cuts, decorated with etched small ovals. The outer band is decorated with beautifully ornate etchings which have naturally aged. The outer edge is etched with dots. Each section is linked with glass leaf-shaped pieces secured to the mirror with silver metal screws fitted with little cut pieces of glass. In excellent vintage condition.
