The L 120 runs on rechargeable lithium or nickel metal hydride batteries, but what's great is that it runs fine on ordinary AA alkaline batteries. After 300 or so shots, you just pop in fresh ones. This camera has a Nikon neck strap and a lens cover. It's lighter than a hamburger. You'll want to add almost any SDHC flash memory card to store hundreds of photos and videos with stereo sound.
