Mixed Pointer Female Looking for a Good Home

Meet Freckles. A small spayed pointer mix female 3-4 years in age. She came to us after her elderly owner had to be placed in a nursing facility. She is a small, shorthaired, friendly girl who lives to run. She walks well on a lease and enjoys car rides. She does well around farm animals (chickens/geese/horses) and never seems to want to chase or bother them. She is good around other dogs but I'm not sure about cats. Never aggressive, loves to run and has been known to dig or bury extra treats. Storms frighten her and she does not like confinement and will do everything to break free, including chewing, digging and climbing fences like a monkey. Our property is road side and we fear she may get run-over at some point so we cannot leave her loose and keeping her indoor is not an option. We have tried kennels and crates in which she is miserable. She even escapes out of 6 foot pens. No flees no ticks. This girl needs some love, attention and room to roam.
