Looking for a skilled operator with a compact landscape excavator, backhoe or similar machine to carefully dig and move 7–8 established shrubs and small trees on my property.
This is a straightforward, same-yard job—no long hauls or complicated access. Distances between current and new spots are short, soil is sandy (easier digging), and I’m looking to get it done while the weather is still favorable for transplanting. I’d prefer someone who has experience moving larger established plants so the root balls stay as intact as possible.
Job specifics:
• 7–8 plants, each roughly 6+ feet tall
• Root balls dug and plants relocated on the same property
• Machine and operator both needed (you bring the equipment)
• Mid-Cape location
• Goal is to complete by the end of 2026
What I’m offering: Open to hourly or a flat project rate—whatever works best for an experienced operator. I value careful work that gives these plants the best shot at survival and am happy to pay fairly for that skill and care.
Please reply with:
• Type/size of machine you have
• Your rate (hourly or flat)
• Availability
• Brief note on any experience transplanting shrubs or trees
• General location (so I know you’re reasonably close)
Call (or email is fine—whichever is easiest for you): 508 945 3168. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you soon so we can get it on the calendar.
Thanks!
