Help Wanted: Solar Technician

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused Solar Technician to join our growing team. You'll maintain, and troubleshoot residential solar PV systems, helping customers generate clean energy and save on electricity costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Locating bad optimizers. Swapping inverters. Establishing solid communication from inverter to monitoring systems.
- Conduct site assessments and ensure installations meet code and manufacturer specs
- Work safely at heights and on rooftops
- Removing / Re-installing solar panels, racking, inverters, and related electrical components
- Coordinate with electricians, project managers, and customers
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with solar PV installation or related electrical/roofing work preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with SolarEdge systems: optimizer issues, swapping inverters, etc.
- Prior experience with Enphase systems and batteries.
- Prior experience with Tesla solar systems.
- Ability to work on roofs, lift 50+ lbs, and work outdoors in various weather
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
What We Offer
Payment based on scope of work per project. Same day pay.
