Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated carpenter to join our dynamic team, bringing expertise in various facets of residential construction and restoration projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing diverse tasks that range from framing and trim carpentry to complex restoration and fabrication work. Your hands-on experience, technical proficiency, and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the successful completion of projects across multiple sectors, including remodeling and restoration. Duties
Perform construction estimating to accurately assess project costs and materials needed.
Execute trim, frame, and metal stud carpentry with precision using hand tools and power tools.
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and fabrication tasks.
Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and stucco with attention to quality standards.
Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, roofing, and water damage restoration as required.
Engage in drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, painting, and siding repairs to ensure seamless finishes.
Foundation repairs of all types.
Manage heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
Assist in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and fixture installation for remodeling projects.
Support mold remediation efforts and water damage restoration processes with specialized techniques.
Fabricate custom components using woodworking skills or metalworking tools as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements
Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related fields.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment and safety practices on construction sites.
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry techniques, rebar installation and roofing systems.
Experience with drywall finishing, plastering, caulking/stucco applications and siding installations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in physically demanding environments.
Prior experience in restoration industry work such as mold remediation or water damage repair is a plus.
Basic electrical knowledge along with plumbing skills for remodeling projects preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
Valid driver’s license is helpful, but not required; certifications related to construction safety or specific trade skills are advantageous, but we will consider hands on experience as well.
