The good:
- CLEAN title
- Up to date with MAJOR maintenance
- 144k miles: timing chain and tensioner guide replaced. If you don’t know about these cars, this is ultimately what blows up the engine, and this has been done at the dealership.
- 120k miles: new clutch replaced
- Cold AC
- 2 keys
- No rust
- Non smoker/No odors in vehicle
The bad:
- Check Engine Light is on but the vehicle runs fine. Previous owner has been driving with the CEL on for a while. Have not gotten a chance to bring it to a shop and get it diagnosed as it’s been driving well.
- Oil leak is certainly present on the engine bay, but I haven’t noticed any obvious leaks in my driveway. Weird, I know, don’t know how else to explain it
- TPMS light on
Overall, the car runs pretty well and the previous owner put tens of thousands of dollars to keep the car running well until now. I simply don’t have the time to put into this car to fix the check engine light. However, the interior is very clean and clutch is fairly new, so it would make a perfect car to learn manual in without having to worry about losing much money. If you’re looking for the perfect mechanically sound car, this is definitely not it.
