4yr old mare (Central Point)

4-year-old Grade bay mare, 15hh, birthday in April. Breed is unknown. She has had approximately 2½ years of groundwork and has all of her basic groundwork established. She backs, walks/trots/lopes, moves her hindquarters and shoulders, lunges, saddles, and stands well.
She has had about 10 rides and then had a roughly 2-week break, so she will definitely need a refresher. She is NOT a hop-on-and-go type of horse and needs someone experienced who is willing to take things slowly and continue building her confidence. She has no intentions of hurting anyone, but she is young and inexperienced and absolutely needs an experienced home.
She has been hauled to gymkhana events for exposure (not competed) and handled the atmosphere really well. Also has been in a parade and did wonderful!! I think with the right person and continued training, she could have a lot of potential.
She is a very in-your-pocket, people-oriented mare and is not mareish at all. She is very attached to me, and while I love this mare with everything in me, I’ve realized that I don't understand her well enough to be the person to take her through the rest of her training. She has taught me so much, and I want to find someone who can continue giving her the time, consistency, and training she deserves.

• Can be harder to catch when turned out in a large field with her friends
IMPORTANT: She is NOT finished and is being sold as a young project. I want her next home to understand that she will need continued training and consistency. I would much rather find her the right home than the fastest sale.
She is not for a beginner or someone looking for a finished riding horse. I’m looking for someone experienced with young horses who is patient, consistent, and genuinely interested in building a partnership with her.
