We are a family-owned commercial roof coating company looking for a dependable person to join our crew. No roofing experience required — we will train the right person!
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:
Must have your own reliable transportation to our shop in Northport every morning. Public transportation is not a practical option.
All pay is on the books (W-2 payroll). No cash or off-the-books payments.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
ABOUT THE JOB:
This is NOT traditional roofing. We do very little tear-off, shingle roofing, or heavy labor. Our work mainly involves applying protective coatings to commercial flat roofs using rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
The work is relatively easy to learn. The biggest requirement is being comfortable working outdoors on rooftops all day, including in summer heat.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Is dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Is comfortable working outdoors and on flat roofs
- Works well with a small crew
- Can handle occasional longer workdays
- Speaks enough English to communicate safely
SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Monday–Friday, typically 7 AM–5 PM, with some longer days as needed
- 5-day workweek, with optional 6th day available
- Meet at our Northport shop daily and ride in company trucks to job sites
- Travel time to and from job sites is paid
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- Starting at $20/hour, with higher pay considered for relevant experience or skills
Construction experience, a clean driver's license, experience driving work trucks, and bilingual English/Spanish ability are all pluses but not required.
