I'm repainting the concrete pool at my house in Collegeville before it goes on the market, and I need one or two people to work alongside me. I supply all materials, tools, and safety gear. You bring work clothes and a willingness to get dirty.
The work:
- Pressure washing and scraping loose paint inside an empty pool
- Patching chips and cracks with hydraulic cement
- Acid wash and TSP rinse (I mix and handle the acid; you scrub and rinse)
- Sanding rough spots
- Rolling two coats of epoxy pool paint on the walls and floor
This is bending, kneeling, and scrubbing in an empty pool in the sun. If you've done concrete, deck, or commercial painting prep, great — but it's not required. I'll show you everything.
Schedule: about 3–4 working days spread across two weeks, because there are required dry days between the steps. I'm flexible on which days. Starting as soon as I find the right person.
Pay: $20/hour, cash at the end of each day.
If you've painted pools before and can run the whole job with your own tools, say so and send me a flat price instead — I'll consider it.
