This is Pearl’s professional Philharmonic concert/orchestral snare and features a 6-ply maple shell, die-cast hoops, tube lugs, and Pearl’s multi-snare strainer system. The PHP1450 was designed for excellent sensitivity and response across a wide dynamic range, making it a great drum for orchestral, concert band, university, audition, or serious percussion study. The exact older PHP1450/101 model is documented as a 14x5, 6-ply maple Philharmonic with Pearl’s SR500 Triad strainer, graduated-tension snares, and MasterCast die-cast hoops.
The drum is in very good used condition and has been well cared for. The heads are basically brand new, and the drum has always been stored and transported in the included Protection Racket case.
