An exceptional vintage sideboard buffet with a grand mirrored back bar, standing an impressive 93 inches tall and 72 inches wide.
This masterfully constructed piece is finished in a rich, dark wood tone with high-relief decorative overlays and intricate hand-carved details. The upper gallery features a multi-tiered arrangement of six beveled mirrors in excellent condition, framed by elegant floating fluted columns with carved acanthus leaf capitals and decorative shell-motif lunettes.
- The crown is finished with a multi-layered molding that adds to its significant architectural presence. The base features a breakfront design with a 40-inch tall countertop.
The storage configuration includes two central drawers with ornate brass hardware, flanked by two side cabinets. The left cabinet contains two fixed shelves, while the right features a specialized cellarette-style drawer with four deep dividers for bottle storage.
While the piece shows the character-building nicks and scrapes typical of vintage furniture including a visible repair to the carved trim on the front right it still remains in beautiful, sturdy condition.
