Southern Gunite has an opening for a Part-Time CDL Driver in Fort Pierce. This is a call-in role with up to 30 hours per week and weekday availability required.
Please apply only if you are comfortable with the physical and jobsite responsibilities of this position. Our drivers do more than transport vehicles — they also support daily field operations when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, you need:
• CDL Class A or B
• Valid DOT physical
• At least 2 years of commercial CDL driving experience
• Ability to operate a standard/manual transmission
• Monday–Friday call-in availability
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more
• Ability to climb, bend, and assist in a construction environment
Knowing how to drive manual transmission is mandatory for this opening.
PAY & HOURS
• $23.00/hour
• Part-time, call-in position
• No more than 30 hours per week
• Monday through Friday as needed
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
• Driving commercial vehicles safely to jobsites
• Transporting equipment and materials
• Supporting crews during daily field operations
• Following safety and company procedures
• Assisting around the jobsite when required
Candidates with previous experience in dump trucks, concrete trucks, loaders, gunite/concrete equipment, or construction operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
