This TR6 has been completely restored in 2024 to better than new condition. The exterior paint is 2 stage (color coat/clear coat). The underside and inside of fenders including under the hood and inside the trunk is single stage urethane. There are new chrome bumpers and door handles. The motor and 4 speed overdrive transmission are original and have been rebuilt. The front and rear suspension including the rack and pinion have all new parts which include tie rod ends, ball joints, trunions, and all rubber bushings front and rear. The car has a number of custom items which include Stay Fast canvas convertible top with zip down rear window, 5 American racing mags 15 x 6", high quality custom vinyl interior, wood steering wheel with original Triumph horn button, Patriot dual side exhaust, custom grill, Halo LED headlights, fully carpeted trunk with spare tire, jack and wrench, tonneau cover and convertible top boot cover. Documents that are included in the sale are the original window sticker, application for title for the 1989 sale, original TR6 handbook, current clear NY title, and folder of receipts for parts and for previous work performed. Included in the sale is the original grill, steering wheel, British Leyland badges, glove box door tire pressure badge, and a box of miscellaneous small parts that may be of interest to the new owner. Also included are the 5 original wheels with the trim rings, hub caps, nuts and studs (15 x 5 1/2") which could easily be installed if the "original look" is desired.
