Duties

Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while balancing registers at shift end.
Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
Support food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices are followed.
Manage guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service that fosters repeat visits.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy hours in a quick service or fast-food environment.
Assist with basic math calculations for order totals, tips, and retail math when applicable.
Participate in training on POS systems like Micros or Aloha to improve efficiency and accuracy in order processing.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
