Please reply with an estimate and your experience now so I can get an idea of who to call for the actual in-person quotes in north Carson City tomorrow. Looking to start work ASAP!
PAINTING
I want the entire inside painted, including ceilings, inside closets, inside cabinets, including patching and repairing any damage to all areas to be painted. The walls will be some kind of off-white and the doors and cabinet doors might be some kind of other off-white or cream so basically at least two colors. I will likely have the wall cabinet painted a light rose or something else light, so likely three colors. Semi-gloss for the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room, eggshell for living spaces.
Plus paint outside front door and outside black railing on front porch.
REMOVE all of the electrical wall plates, inside door handles, cabinet door handles, and all hinges, but other hardware like TV and phone permanently REMOVE before painting, patch if necessary. Remove all ceiling fans (keep aside).
After painting, REPLACE with new wall plates, inside door handles, cabinet door handles, and all hinges. I will buy the new hardware and you replace.
AI says that a 1440 sf house has about 5,000 sf of painting.
FLOORING
Add low cost LVT or LVP, about $2 sf material for all flooring. Add baseboards everywhere that has none.
Plus outside front porch carpet 8x30' removed and replaced. Also include both sets of steps to cover in outdoor carpet.
In addition some wood on the outside wood edges, under carpet, needs replacing and to secure the railing with long secure bolts, etc. Plus paint black railing white.
