This was a running short block when it was removed from a vehicle many years ago. Has been stored inside, needs a thorough cleaning at an absolute minimum. Casting number 3999289, date code J671, for October 6th, 1971. This makes it a 1972 model year 454, used in common passenger cars, trucks and Corvettes. Turns over easily by hand. It has been bored .060 already and the cylinder walls do look ok, but it is what it is. It’s priced accordingly for what it is, so don’t waste your time lowballing. Price is $250 cash.
