Looking for a full-time sign installer. Manual labor, construction, and use of hand tools experience is a plus. Will train the right person. We have been in business for 30 years with a solid team. Pay is $16-17 an hour starting out. Company provides truck and all tools to complete the work. Shop is located in Carrollton, TX. All install work is non-electrical. Must be physically healthy to do this work loading and unloading your service truck, carrying 40lbs regularly. In DFW sometimes it is 105 degrees or 25 degrees- the work still needs to get done. It is hard work, BUT I had a girl work for me for years and she did the job and was great at it. Any healthy man should not have an issue. Must have a valid/current drivers license. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a phone with texting capabilities. If you cannot pass a drug test do not apply. You will be provided a company credit card for daily purchases- if you cannot be responsible and honest with a credit card do not apply. Most of the time this job requires you to work alone and occasionally with another team member. This job is straight forward. You will be provided a list of things to do every day with written/pictures instructions and all the tools needed to complete your work. 90% of days are 5-6 hours of work, but you will still be paid for 8 hours. Occasionally, you will have days of 8+ hours, but you are still only paid for 8 hours. I am flexible with your start times. If you want to beat the heat or you are an early bird and want to start at 6am and be done by noon I will work with you. Or if you have kids that you need to tend to in the mornings and want to start at 9-10am I will work with you- as long as the work gets done and done right I am flexible. I am the owner/boss that hires/fires, pays your wages and I am the only one you will report to. I have employees that have been here for 5, 10, and 20+ years because I am fair and straight with people. I will not hire violent criminals, but if you are a person that has made mistakes in their past life and need a 2nd chance we may be a good fit for you.
