Exact Staff is hiring a hard-working and diligent Production Material Coordinator to join our client’s assembly team in Carpinteria, CA. Our client is a leading company specializing in high-quality event venue solutions, including audio equipment and camera lights. This position is also known as a Water Spider. You’ll ensure production lines receive materials just in time, helping prevent work stoppages and delays. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the possibility of growth.
This position is ideal for individuals with warehouse, logistics, or production experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensure production kits are complete when delivered to the assembly cell
Stage materials at the point of use, and replenish when necessary
Work closely with project leads to anticipate material needs and adjust workflow as needed
Implement and refine lean practices, ensuring the replenishment process is reliable and consistent
Track material movement and ensure the integrity of data in the warehouse management system
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments
Experience with warehouse management systems
Experience with just-in-time replenishment or kanban
Knowledge and expertise in Lean/Six Sigma standards
Basic math skills
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Punctual and able to arrive on time at the location
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
Pay Rate: $20.00–$28.00/hour, DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Shifts Available: First Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Carpinteria, CA
