I’m looking for an opportunity to work as a carpenter helper and gain hands-on experience in the trade.
I’m serious about becoming a carpenter and want to learn by actually working alongside experienced carpenters - helping with measuring, cutting, framing, demo, material handling, jobsite cleanup, tool setup, and whatever else needs to be done.
I’m primarily looking for **paid carpenter helper work**, but I’m also open to occasionally volunteering my time with an experienced carpenter or small crew in exchange for the opportunity to learn and get real hands-on experience.
I’m dependable, hardworking, comfortable with physical work, and not afraid of starting at the bottom. I listen well, show up early and ready to work, and genuinely want to learn how things are built correctly.
I’m especially interested in residential carpentry, renovations, framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry, set/scenic carpentry, and general construction.
Located in NYC and willing to travel throughout the five boroughs for the right opportunity!
If you’re a carpenter, contractor, remodeler, handyman, or small crew who could use an extra set of hands and doesn’t mind teaching someone who is motivated to learn, please reach out.
Thanks for reading! :)
