This is the most "organic" Dali` i've ever seen. An A/P, on Arches paper, signed in the lower right.
It is Authenticated by Frank Hunter of the Dali Archives.
Titled "Montre-fleur " (The Watch Flower), 1973.
The colours are deep chocolate/ browns, burnt orange, traces of verdant green. Autumn.
Truly a beautiful piece, and easy to live with.
It is listed in The Official Catalog of the Works of Salvador Dali` No. OI 73-4.
There are some little repair-guys at the bottom, going in to fix the flower, which is off kilter---
the watch is inside the flower's face and shows the time.
It is deep in both colour & symbology...
Not the usual Dali` but it's the Real Thing.
