Local QuickBooks Pro Implementation Specialist Needed – Construction & Software Integration

JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a peninsula-based QuickBooks Pro Implementation Specialist with extensive experience in the construction industry, to help build, implement, and roll out a complete accounting and operational tech stack.
You will work directly with our team to transition us onto QuickBooks and integrate key third-party systems, including construction management software and tax preparation tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
System Implementation & Setup: Configure QuickBooks for contractor-specific needs (job costing, progress invoicing, payroll/time tracking, change orders, etc.).
Software Integration: Connect and sync QuickBooks with our construction management software, time-tracking apps, and tax preparation software.
Data Migration: Clean, import, and reconcile historical accounting and project data.
Process Optimization: Establish best practices for accounts payable, payroll processing, job-level cost tracking, etc.
Training & Support: Train management and administrative staff on the new workflow to ensure a smooth, lasting rollout.
Industry Background: Proven track record working directly with general contractors or specialty trade contractors. Preferred experience with boutique firms of approx. 2-20 employees.
Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience integrating QuickBooks with industry tools (e.g., BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, Procore, Jobber) and tax/payroll platforms.
Track Record: Demonstrated experience executing full-cycle software rollouts from initial setup to user adoption.
