13 years of natural wood aging and “opening up” gives this guitar a deeper, punchier tone with more volume and sustain than a new D-18.
Minimal playwear overall. Has minor separation of the back binding at the waist (see photos), which is extremely common for Martins of this era (due to the glue formula used at the time) and has no effect on sound, structural integrity, or playability. No major repairs or modifications in its lifetime.
