The Mackie ShowBox is excellent for live performers or practice sessions. The battery powered 400-watt, 6-channel powered speaker has two hi-Z inputs for acoustic, electric, or bass guitar, two XLR inputs for microphones, and a pair of stereo inputs, for keyboard or additional guitar and vocal, through a pedal like a voice live acoustic, or something similar, that supports both. The breakaway mixer, works great from a mike stand or controlled directly from the speaker itself. With onboard digital effects, it has live recording to a micro SD card, and streaming options to your favorite smart device. It also has a USB port to charge your phone or iPad from the microphone stand while doing your set. A looper, a tuner, and an effects loop are also included !
I’ve added an extra extension, for the mixer, which can be used to adjust the parameters from the audience.
I Bought this new from Sweetwater, but haven’t used it much. I actually had a bass, a guitar, a ukulele, and 3 vocals connected, and it sounded great.
It works either plugged in or just using the battery power. The battery lasts a long time. Perfect for busking. Excellent condition. Save some money. Local pickup. Cash only.
