I have a 3 year old chocolate York kitty that unfortunately is getting bullied badly by the rest of my cats. She is very sweet but is scared to now come out because of the other cats. That said, this is no life for a kitty. She needs a nice peaceful home so that she can feel safe and comfortable. She loves attention and pets and would do best in an environment where she feels comfortable to come out as she used to be a very social cat.
