Selling my Snapper 1738XL 38" snowblower with a 13.5 HP Briggs & Stratton engine. This is not a box-store machine—it's a heavy-duty unit that's built like a tank and is ready to handle some serious snow.
Features:
38" clearing width
13.5 HP Briggs & Stratton engine
Starts on the first or second pull most of the time
Electric starter — just plug in an extension cord
Remote chute control
Differential steering triggers make turning much easier
Headlight
Current condition:
I started it up today and it runs good. There is Stabil fuel additive in the gas currently, and it runs fine with that mix. I would recommend changing the oil and putting fresh gas in it before the winter season.
The remote chute control works great left and right, but the up/down adjustment is currently stuck. It may just need some lithium grease, but I'm not going to mess with it. I'm selling it as-is.
The light is also broken. I've never bothered fixing it because it never affected how I used the machine.
There is some rust, as you'd expect from a snowblower that's been used, but overall this thing is built like a tank.
I'm selling it because I hurt my back and can no longer use it.
$475 OBO
I have ramps available and you can use them to load it into your truck or trailer right here in the driveway.
