In beautifully, sturdy antique condition. The rare convex glass is remarkably clean, clear and intact. The dark brown frame has a wonderful historic look, showing minor nicks along the bottom edge and here or there from a lifetime of being safely stored and moved from home to home over the last century. On the back, there is vintage gray duct tape around the edge that is halfway peeling off from age; however, the portrait photo itself remains perfectly secure, flat, and completely untouched inside.
