A BEAUTIFUL WINTER ON THE MEGUNTICOOK RIVER
Furnished Camden Waterfront Home | November 1, 2026–May 1, 2027
$3,900 per month | Maximum occupancy: four
Spend the winter in a warm, light-filled home on the banks of the Megunticook River, surrounded by woods and water yet only a short distance from downtown Camden and the harbor.
This beautifully renovated and fully furnished three-bedroom, three-bath contemporary home sits on 1.3 peaceful waterfront acres. Its approximately 2,850 square feet include soaring cathedral ceilings, expansive windows, warm natural woodwork and lovely river views in every season.
The heart of the house is the open living and dining area, where sunlight pours through the windows during the day and a wood stove creates a cozy gathering place on winter evenings. The home also has a separate wood-burning fireplace, a home gym, a comfortable media and recreation area with a slate pool table, and a washer and dryer.
It is a special home—peaceful, welcoming and designed to be genuinely lived in and enjoyed.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and private full bath. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed and its own full bath. The third bedroom is furnished primarily as a comfortable family room, with an additional queen-size bed and its own full bath.

The electricity and propane accounts will remain in the owner’s name for simplicity and continuity. The tenant will reimburse the owner for actual electricity charges monthly. Propane expenses will be reconciled approximately every three months.
The propane tank will be filled immediately before the tenancy begins. Shortly before the May 1 move-out, the owner will arrange a final delivery restoring the tank to its starting level, with the tenant reimbursing the actual invoiced cost.
One cord of seasoned firewood is included. After that, additional seasoned firewood will be the tenant’s responsibility and may be purchased from an approved local supplier.
CARING FOR THE HOME
This is the owner’s much-loved home rather than a conventional investment property. The hope is to find considerate tenants who will settle in, enjoy it and care for it as thoughtfully as they would their own home.
Applicants should be comfortable following written house instructions and safely operating the wood stove and fireplace. Previous experience living with a wood stove is strongly preferred.
PETS
One well-behaved dog may be considered after an in-person meeting, review of veterinary records and satisfactory housing or pet references. No cats.
Applicants with an approved dog may be asked for additional security within Maine’s legal deposit limits. Assistance-animal accommodation requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
SMOKING
No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere inside the house or garage.
