Up for sale is a 50 watt 1983 Marshall JCM 800 model 4210 in very good cosmetic and mechanical condition. It features the original Drake transformers, original filter, caps, and a single, period correct, British made Celestion G12-50 speaker which many considered to be a significant upgrade over the original G12m-70 speaker (delivering a warmer, more organic sound reminiscent of a vintage Greenback, but with the appropriate power handling for this amp). Also included is a freshly installed pair of Ruby EL 34 power tubes. The amp sounds absolutely killer with these tubes and the reverb sounds excellent as well. Vintage Marshall JCM 800s are some of the best rock ‘n’ roll amps ever made, and are great investments too!
This amp is listed on Ebay, Reverb and here on craigslist, each priced accordingly.
