Helen Frank (born 1930) is an American artist from New York and New Jersey. She attended the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art around 1950. During her time there, she studied under the painter Leopold Matzal before continuing her prolific arts education at prestigious institutions like Cooper Union and Yale.
Frank's work is widely collected and can be found in major institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and the Library of Congress. Her style often focuses on observational subjects like New York City landmarks, domestic scenes, and animals.
A significant collection of her master prints (over 1,000 works) was donated to Lafayette College, where they are archived to show the evolution of her seven-decade career.
