High-quality custom-built bicycle wheels. For rim brakes. Size 700c Sun 18 polished aluminum rims. Swiss DT 14-gauge stainless steel spokes. Front wheel has Velo Orange low-flange sealed bearing hub with quick release, 32 spokes laced cross three. Rear wheel has Shimano Alfine 8-speed internal geared hub, 36 spokes laced cross three. Extra sprocket in different size, and several different axle washers included. Tires are still good but old and should probably be replaced. I built these wheels 15 years ago and rode them about 3,000 miles over twelve years until I had to give up cycling because of age-related balance issues. They still worked well when I broke down the bike and sold the parts. They were used only on paved bike paths, always stored indoors, and rarely ridden in the rain. Still remarkably true.
