Position: Groundsman
Location: Burnaby and various locations across the Lower Mainland
Pay: Starting at $26 per hour; rate will vary based on experience and qualifications
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 6–8 hours per day
Job Responsibilities:
Support the tree crew with daily operations and job site setup
Remove debris, chip branches, and rake job sites
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain a clean and safe worksite
Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other power equipment
Assist with lowering branches and wood safely during removals
Drive trucks and haul trailers (if qualified)
Operate or assist with bucket truck operations (if trained or qualified)
Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Requirements:
Experience in tree work, arboriculture, landscaping, or construction preferred but not required
Comfortable with physical labor and outdoor work
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
Must wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hat and safety boots
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Must have a personal vehicle
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
