Landscaping has many different avenues and unlimited growth opportunities for you to learn and explore. Maintenance, design, construction, arboriculture, greenhouse, nursery production, irrigation etc. etc. Come and work with us. We will train you and sponsor your Red Seal apprenticeship schooling and other hands-on education if you excel at the work.
We do landscape maintenance at local Hospitals, City sites, and condo/commercial buildings. Shifts are 4 days per week and ten hours per day. No weekends unless you want to. You do not need your own car or transportation. Just get to and from our shop at Holdom SkyTrain station. Your pay starts at the shop and includes driving time to and from job sites. We offer a comprehensive health care package that can be tailored to suit your situation.
What you need... preferably a calm demeanor with good sense of humor, ability to work in all kinds of weather (we will provide rain gear), can-do attitude to get things done, problem solving skills, good health/physical fitness as this is hard work (no need to go to the gym!), clean BCDL and able to safely drive a 3 ton truck, SIN number, proficient English skills, a keen eye for details and dedication to producing great results even and especially when no one is looking! Basic construction tool or small engine experience would be an asset as well.
