About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organized **Junior Project Coordinator** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is early in their project management career and wants to develop their skills while supporting projects from planning through completion.
The Junior Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, team members, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Project Managers and skill trades workers with the planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
* Maintain project schedules, timelines, action items, and status updates.
* Communicate with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
* Help prepare project documentation, reports, quotes, and other project materials.
* Track project deliverables, deadlines, approvals, and outstanding items.
* Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is kept current.
* Assist with purchase orders, invoices, quotes, and other administrative project requirements.
* Identify potential delays or issues and escalate them to the Project Manager.
* Follow up with team members and external partners to ensure tasks are completed on time.
* Support project closeout activities and help document lessons learned.
* Perform other project and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
* 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, construction, or any related field is an asset.
* Post-secondary education in Business, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline is an asset.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Experience with project management software is an asset.
* Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
* Professional, dependable, and proactive approach to work.
* Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
* Drivers License and a vehicle
