We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. If you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers in finding the right products.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
Learn to mix paint accurately using our computerized paint system.
Cut and duplicate keys.
Receive, stock, and merchandise inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
Assist customers with products related to plumbing, electrical, hardware, tools, paint, and seasonal departments.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
Previous retail experience is an asset.
Knowledge of hardware, tools, plumbing, electrical, paint, or building materials is preferred.
Experience in the trades or a hands-on background is a strong asset.
Willingness to learn new systems, products, and procedures, including paint mixing, key cutting, and POS operation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
