Benchmark Architectural Woodworking is hiring an Entry-Level Cabinetmaker. We are willing to train the right person. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, physically capable, and motivated to build a long-term career in the cabinetmaking/millwork trade. You must be willing to learn, take direction, work safely, keep pace in a production shop, and take pride in doing quality work. Room for growth/advancement for motivated individuals showing an interest in the trade. Joinery apprenticeship opportunities available.
Duties:
-Organize cabinet components
-install hardware
-install cabinet back
-install and adjust cabinet doors
-prepare cabinets for shipping
-load truck
-cleanup
Requirements:
-Ability to understand and communicate work instructions, safety information, and basic production details in English.
-must be legally entitled to work in Canada
-Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs as part of regular shop duties
