Working Retro Gaming PC – Core 2 Quad / GTX 260 / ASUS P5N-T Deluxe
Nice late-2000s enthusiast gaming PC that’s still running well. This was a quality custom build in its day and would make a great retro gaming machine, period-correct project, or collection piece.
Specs:
* Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66 GHz (4-core)
* ASUS P5N-T Deluxe enthusiast motherboard
* EVGA/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 – 896 MB
* 8 GB RAM
* 1 TB WD Blue hard drive
* Raidmax Scorpio 535W power supply
* Cooler Master tower
* Samsung Super Writemaster DVD drive
* Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Computer boots normally and was tested running Windows 10. GTX 260 is recognized properly by Windows and DirectX diagnostics reported no problems.
The PC has since been fully reset with the drive-cleaning option and is currently at the Windows initial setup screen, ready for the new owner to set up.
The computer has been cleaned up, but I haven’t done a complete teardown/deep cleaning due to its age. Case and components show normal cosmetic wear from years of use.
This is older hardware and is being sold primarily as a working retro/enthusiast PC rather than a modern gaming computer.
Included Microsoft wireless keyboard (Missing foot.)
Included Dell wired mouse.
