The Gillette Sensor Silver Plated Edition (1989) served as a premium, design-forward iteration of The Gillette Company's groundbreaking spring-mounted twin-blade shaving system. Functionally, it used the exact same revolutionary cartridges as the standard Gillette Sensor, featuring individually spring-loaded blades designed to contour to the face.
The Silver Plated Edition elevated a standard consumer razor into an executive-level collectible that showcased elevated craftsmanship and luxury appeal and the Silver Plated Edition shifted the focus from mass-market utility to luxury gifting.
My wife was a Gillette employee and brought several of these home to be gifted to close friends on special occasions. This particular razor is the last one and has been in our home since the late 80's. It is still in it's original presentation box and both the Razor and Box are as new and fresh as the day they were produced.
Also include is a free protective box sleeve that has done a very effective job of protecting the razor & presentation box for over 37 years.
It can be a precious keepsake or cherished memorabilia for anyone affiliated with The Gillete Company during that ERA.
