Experienced Bassist and guitarist are Seeking: Drums, Lead guitar, keys. Also, looking for any of those that can sing as well, or...a dedicated singer. Genre: Classic / Hard rock with plenty of room for tracks that would blend well into that framework. Over 40 years experience in originals and covers. I have a decent PA rig for practice, mics, cabling, speakers. Professional rig: SWR Workingman Series 2x10 and 1x15 cabs, Mesa Carbine head and Fender Rumble 100, Boss pedal. (I use one setting...I'm not crawling all over it during a show) I also have access to a full range of professional live gear when necessary.
I have secure, climate controlled and sound reinforced / dampened practice space at my house near Main and Harlem in Amherst. Rehearsal would be here due to back issues and the amount of gear I'd need to haul.
I'm looking to practice, optimally, once a week and play out once a month. Am willing to take the time, put in the effort and the loot to make that happen. I'm retired and have plenty of time to do so. I am a frequent flyer at Couzin's open mic in the Southtowns...they seem to like me there. And...while I hate to say it and put anything negative here...serious inquiries only. I've been doing this a long time...I'm not naive and I'm not looking to be the next big thing in Buffalo. A solid, tight, interesting, dedictated and busy band of ultimately (hopefully) friends is fine by me. But...I'm not looking for casual players and neither am I looking for someone who thinks they're going to get a band up and running that's going to let them work fewer shifts or do music for a living. (Yes, that's experience speaking. Sorry about that...but like I said, not my first rodeo.)
If interested, please feel free to respond to my email address listed here.
Attached are pics of the practice space and the songboard that includes most, but by no means all of the songs on my current rotation...some more frequently than others.
