Local Class A CDL Driver – Walking Floor (Home Daily)

This is a hands-on garbage hauling position using walking floor trailers. Please read before applying.
We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for local runs only based out of Blasdell, NY, hauling waste between Blasdell and Lewiston. You will be home daily.
Schedule
Monday–Friday
10–12 hour days
Rotating Saturday schedule (required)
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Valid Class A CDL
Must be able to operate an 18-speed manual transmission
Clean driving record
Comfortable hauling garbage / waste
Willing to work long days and rotating Saturdays
Walking floor experience preferred (training considered for the right driver)
❌ No OTR
❌ No automatic-only drivers
What You’ll Be Doing
Operating Class A tractor-trailers with walking floor trailers
Local waste hauling runs (Blasdell ↔ Lewiston)
Performing pre- and post-trip inspections
Following assigned routes and schedules
Communicating with dispatch as needed
